2024 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships – Entry Information

The 2024 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships are being held in Madiera Island, Portugal, from 3rd- 6th October.

If you wish to race in this event, you must enter the event yourself and you must also notify Canoe Racing NZ of your intention to race.

The event is open to all members of ICF affiliated National Federations from Juniors through to Masters with no restriction on the number of entries that a National Federation can submit. This means there is no requirement to be selected by Canoe Racing NZ (CRNZ) to attend this event.

Any CRNZ-affiliated club member can enter and compete at this world championship event. See entry details below.

 

2024 World Championship Entry information

Step 1:
Enter online  through the event website.

Step 2:
Please notify CRNZ of your entry by completing this form.
This is required as all official world championship category competitors also need to be entered through the ICF system by CRNZ.
Failure of CRNZ to enter you via the ICF system will result in you not being able to compete.

 

All competitors must be a member of a CRNZ-affiliated club in order to compete at an ICF event, as per ICF regulations. See list of CRNZ-affiliated clubs.

This is a self-funded and self-supported competition – competitors are expected to arrange their own travel and race requirements.

You must notify CRNZ of your entry by midnight Monday 17th September.
Event entries close on 24th September.
