The CRNZ Selection Policy for the 2026 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships are now available online.
The 2026 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championship will be held on 22 – 25 October 2026 in Gualeguaychu, Argentina.
If you wish to be considered for this event, please ensure you have carefully read and understood the selection policy.
The selection event will be the 2026 Watersports Marathon Challenge on 20/21 June at Hawkes Bay Kayak Racing Club on the Clive River, Hawkes Bay. This marathon event is jointly hosted by Mana Kayak Club and Hawkes Bay Kayak Racing Club and will include K1, K2 and K4 marathon racing including short course K1 races. This event is open to all craft, and is divisional to create close competitive racing for all ages and abilities.
