On the eve of our 2026 NZCT New Zealand Canoe Sprint National Championships, it is timely to remind everyone of the importance of our collective commitment to clean sport and New Zealand’s Sports Anti-Doping Rules.
These rules around doping in sport aim to keep sport fair for everyone involved, and apply to every member of our sport – irrespective of age, level of competition and role in sport. They apply to athletes, coaches, administrators and support personnel.
It is important that everyone understands their role in ensuring a clean and fair sport as well as the Anti-doping rules and possible violations.
The Sport Integrity Commission Te Kahu Raunui website has all the information you need to know, including e-learning courses offering athletes, support personnel and anyone with an interest in sport an easy and convenient way to learn.
