Entries are now open for the 2026 NZCT New Zealand Canoe Sprint Championships.The pinnacle of the canoe sprint domestic season this event will be held at Lake Karapiro in Cambridge on 10-12 April 2026. This event will see paddlers from all over New Zealand represent their clubs and competing for national titles.
The Championships cater to all age groups from 12&U right through to Masters, including unlimited craft categories. Race distances will include 100m, 200m, 500m, 1000m plus 2.5km/5km with portages. K1, K2 and K4 events will be included. This is a disability inclusive event and will include para canoe events.
This event is proudly supported by NZ Community Trust and the Waipa District Council.
Online entries are open now and will close at midnight on Sunday 22 March.
The individual paddlers/families are to enter themselves into their K1 races below. Club/Team Managers will enter team boats and club relays for each club.
