The 2026 ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships in Halifax , Canada get underway overnight on Wednesday and our young NZ athletes are ready to get into the action.
The event runs from Wednesday 1 July to Sunday 5th July (local time) with racing starting very early hours on Thursday 2nd July NZT. The NZ team have some experienced international racers as well as fresh faces at their first World Championship event.
642 athletes from 54 countries will participate at this World Championships, as the next generation of canoe sprint athletes will look to make their mark.
