The 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint & Paracanoe World Cup in Montreal, Canada gets underway overnight on Thursday, and the New Zealand athletes are primed and ready.
The event runs from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th July, and will take place at Parc Jean-Drapeau’s Olympic Basin in Montréal, Québec. Aimee Fisher and Quaid Thompson will be racing at their third world cup of the year, while it is a alternate men’s K4 crew lining up in Canada. This will also be the first international event in 2026 for Paralympian Scott Martlew.
