The 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint & Paracanoe World Championships in Poznan, Poland gets underway tonight (Wednesday 26th August 7.00pm NZT), the international pinnacle event for our sport and New Zealand athletes.
The event runs from Wednesday 26th – Sunday 30th August on the Malta River Course in Poznan. With World titles and vital Olympic and Paralympic qualification points on the line, the NZ team will join over 900 of the world’s fastest canoe sprint and paracanoe athletes, coming together to showcase the best the sport has to offer.
