The 2024 ICF Junior and Under 23 Canoe Sprint World Championships get underway in Plovdiv, Bulgaria tomorrow night (Wednesday 17th July NZT) and the 15-strong young New Zealand team are amping to get racing.
The event runs from 17th to 21st July and features racing for U18 and U23 age group paddlers. New Zealand have sent the largest U18 team ever, which includes two K4 crews, as well as a strong U23 squad who have some vast experience racing at this level.
