Canoe Racing New Zealand are excited to share the athletes selected in the New Zealand Canoe Sprint Team for the upcoming 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cups in Szeged, Hungary and Brandenburg, Germany.

The team are departing for Europe over the next week for training before two consecutive weekends of ICF World Cup events – the Szeged Canoe Sprint World Cup on 8-10 May followed by the Brandenburg Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Cup on 14-17 May.
These ICF World Cup events begin the new 2 year Olympic & Paralympic ICF qualification process for LA 2028, whereby qualification points are on offer at major competitions for the new Olympic Ranking System which will determine quota spots available to nations.
